about

Hailing from Saratov, Russia, Gregory Esayan has spent the past decade refining his elegant blend of uplifting melodies, world music-influenced motifs, and pulsing progressive beats. His artistic journey has culminated with support from some of the more acclaimed tastemakers within the melodic dance music world. His latest offering, "Cradle," is the second single from his forthcoming "My Guiding Star" artist album. Rounding out the package, Indonesian phenom LTN has been summoned for another lush, soothing, and exceedingly beautiful 'Sunrise' remix.

A reference to the gentle lullaby that can be heard in the beginning of the song, as well as the more figurative epithet "cradle of civilization" (conjured by the many evocative African motifs throughout the composition), Gregory's original mix kicks off with a torrent of melodies and atmospheres that lay the cinematic and profoundly evocative framework for the remainder of the track. Vocal chops and echoing synth plucks are built up in a whirl of delays and reverb, while the pulsing bassline contributes plenty of low-end support. Esayan's melodies crescendo, carrying the atmospheres into the initial breakdown of the track, where transportive pads and vocal whispers bring the arrangement to a mesmerizing climax.

LTN has long been a beloved name within the Silk Music family, and thus, we are especially pleased to share one of his most memorable 'Sunrise' remixes to date. LTN reinterprets the melodies of the original record, as slow-evolving motifs and pad progressions capture the blissful, meditative qualities of a summer sunrise. The breakdown sees only a small lull in energy, as pulsing beats surrender to lush pads and harmonies. A torrent of melody and emotion imbues the listener's soul when the drop section, in all of its cathartic beauty, brings this unforgettable composition to a close.
