about

It's our great privilege to present "Changes," the third single from Gregory Esayan's triumphant "Pilgrim's Diary" artist album. Two additional label veterans, Sundriver and Katrin Souza, also offer dazzling new interpretations of their own.

There is an "endless summer" flavor to Sundriver's euphoric remix. The Polish sensation's signature Balearic pads and synths arrive early on in the arrangement, as he playfully teases the lead theme. A light progressive breaks section heralds the addition of the main vocal theme from the original version, which Sundriver has hypnotically processed in his new rendering. A disco-flavored theme arrives soon thereafter, which provides a jubilant climax to an already uplifting soundscape.

We are equally thrilled to welcome back Russian artist Katrin Souza to our imprint. Her take has more of an underground flavor, as one would expect from the acclaimed deep-progressive talent. Hallucinogenic synths, an artist signature, are punctuated by cleverly (and mellifluously) arranged vocal samples in the early going. Meanwhile, a deliciously lush groove offers the listener plenty of rhythmic sustenance. In the main breakdown, gorgeous melodic variations on Esayan's original themes are presented; they coalesce to heavenly effect in the latter half of the arrangement.

For good measure, we've also included Gregory Esayan's "Original Mix" in this single. Initially featured on his "Pilgrim's Diary" artist album, "Changes" is best encapsulated by the artist himself: "Perhaps it sounds a bit strange, but most of my positive compositions were written in the most difficult moments of my life. In quite a few tracks, I express my hopes and dreams, even when they feel out of reach. At the time of writing this track, some unpleasant things happened in my life. The 'change' is what my heart really wanted. Writing this song was my method of personalizing hopes and wishes."
