about

With the much anticipated release of Gregory Esayan's third artist album, "My Guiding Star," now just weeks away, it's our great pleasure to present the first single, "Coral Glasses," alongside a remix by fellow label veteran Flexible Fire.

The lush progressive number "Coral Glasses" evokes the balmy euphoria of a mid-summer tropical locale. So many of the Russian producer's beloved signatures are encapsulated within this one composition, including a driving groove, myriad melodic layers, and intoxicating vocal stabs. In the main breakdown, Esayan introduces a rapturous guitar theme, which carries the composition into (and through) the ecstatic drop section to follow.

Airdraw's deeper, more soulful production alias, Flexible Fire, contributes the one and only remix of "Coral Glasses" to this single release. The Argentine veteran is a master of melodies himself, so it's no surprise to hear him quickly craft a mesmerizing soundscape, featuring numerous variations on the original themes, in the early going of his interpretation. More specifically, crystalline, bell-tinged melodies are punctuated by distant vocal echoes, while a captivating deep-progressive rhythm gently catalyzes the listener's journey. Stirring strings unite with the many gorgeous instrumental motifs in the main breakdown (to euphonious effect), followed by the arrival of a hypnotic arp line in the closing minutes.
