Over the years, Gregory Esayan's music has been celebrated by a variety of international trance & progressive leaders, including Armin van Buuren. Returning from a nearly two-year, self-imposed artistic exile, the Russian phenom is back on our imprint with his most visionary work to date. More specifically, as we prepare for the imminent arrival of Gregory Esayan's second full-length artist album, "Pilgrim's Diary," we enthusiastically present its first single, "Make A Wish." Each track on Gregory's new album offers a unique sonic experience to the listener; yet, "Make A Wish" perfectly encapsulates the album's exceedingly musical, evocative, and cinematic aesthetic.
Gregory's "Original Mix" is a remarkably beautiful and uplifting affair, featuring bell-tinged synths, radiant pads, echoing female vocals, and an exhilarating lead chord progression. On remix detail, we've recruited fellow Silk Music veteran eleven.five, whose rendering is more club-friendly, yet no less compositionally rich and emotionally profound. Both mixes on this single feature extended breakdowns, in which the composers fully "liberate" the rapturous and truly unforgettable lead melodic themes.
